72 teams participate (another 72 in Florida) and many of the best 15u players in the country are playing. In the 14u there are 52 participating teams.
Junior Olympics is the primary tryout for the United States 15u National Team. In 2012, in order to be eligible for consideration to the Youth National Team, the player must be born in 1997 (or later). Although (15u) players with 1996 birthdates are not eligible to be selected to the Youth National team, this is still a great tournament with excellent showcasing opportunities. Any top 15u player will love this event.
Cost:
We run our team at a not-for-profit-rate- we split the cost among the participants.
Roster:
We take less players than most, so there will be plenty of playing time. We think this is a key to having a great time and having success at this tournament.
Time Commitment:
The only time commitment required would be during the dates of the event. There will not be any practices or commitment required prior to the event. We are not looking to interfere with whatever summer teams our players play on.
Tryouts:
We do not conduct formal tryouts, it is an invitation only event. To request an invite please complete a player information form.
Quality:
Our years of experience help make this a highlight for our players. We know how to do it right!
